The fifth edition of
wePioneer kicks off
This year we want to highlight those organizations that, like ours, are committed to improving the Carbon Footprint in their processes.
If you incorporate Carbon Footprint projects in your organization and consider that the practices you carry out are pioneering, as well as adding value to your company, send us your project!
Within the Carbon Footprint theme, proposals will be accepted that are related to best practices aimed at the organization's commitment to climate change and energy transition:
- Transparency and public communication of emissions information.
- Public commitments with measurable objectives that increase the ambition to reduce the carbon footprint.
- Initiatives to measure the climate impact of the value chain.
- Development of climate change mitigation and adaptation projects in production facilities and/or in the value chain.
- Development of initiatives related to the compensation of emissions.
- Formalization of training and/or awareness programs on climate change.
All initiatives will be considered, and other aspects such as respect for the environment, use of new technologies, creation of employment or the development of the community in which the project is implemented will be positively evaluated.
A jury made up of experts will evaluate all the projects and will consider criteria such as originality, viability, the contribution of society and the market opportunities that it offers.

Winner of the fourth edition:
CONFECCIONES OROEL, S.A. with its proposal #ECOROEL circular economy project, dedicated to the research and development of new technical personal protection garments focused on eco-design and the recovery of used textiles, was the winner of the last edition, whose theme was the Circular Economy.
